Who are we?

ExplainerVids came to be because of a group of people´s love for storytelling. We have a passion for telling stories in ways that are engaging and can properly convey a message to an selected audience. We have always been interested in the greatness of animation as means to portray these stories because it allows for an ever expanding canvas of possibilities in terms of ways even abstract ideas can be portrayed. Our team is composed of great animation and voice talent, so that we can fully bring your video ideas into reality.

We are also very much aware of the current offerings in our industry. We have been wondering for some time if there can be a cost-effective animation explainer video option for our customers that maintains high standards of quality. We have gone through a lot of tireless work to have that for our customers. Our commitment to quality is foremost. We have of course other types of offerings for those customers that have other needs.

Ultimately, we try to match our services with whatever our customers require. We will listen to your necessities and collaborate with you throughout the development process to materialize your vision into a great animated explainer video.

PROCESS

What is our process like?

1. Getting to know your needs

We want to get to know your ideas on what the video should be like. We give you a short creative brief and we get into a call with you to come to understand your vision. Some members of our team will ask some questions to better help us improve the story telling.

2. Scripting and visual concepts

Once we have an understanding of your requirements, we will proceed with the scripting phase. In this part of the process there will be an opportunity to go back and forth and do revisions. This part of the process is of paramount importance and we will iterate in a collaborative way until the scripting is where it needs to be to fulfill your vision. After the script has been completed our illustration team will begin to generate visual representations of the script.

3. Storyboarding and vocals

Our illustration team begins to generate visual representations of the script in a set of frames. The storyboard is the visual blueprint of what your animated explainer video will be like. You also participate in selecting the “voice” of your video.

6. We deliver!

In this final phase we show to you the final version of the animated explainer video for review. If the results are as expected, then we release the video files to you.

4. Animation

The animation team begins to put the storyboard frames into motion. This is the phase were your idea comes alive. We will work on the first 15 seconds of the animation and submit it to you for your approval. If your approve we will continue with the animation until completion. We consider this phase to be critical for the project, so we will be fully dedicated to attention to detail and sometimes this means spending a reasonable amount of time at it.

5. Sound effects

The background sound and music are always a key ingredient to the mix. It helps to add character and ambience to the explainer video. We make sure that the sound effects and music are correctly synched with the rhythm of the storytelling.
